Section 1 of 6
Fund overview
The basics. Most of this ends up on the grant card that clubs see.
The name clubs will see on the grant card.
For example "The Smith Family Foundation", "Green Pitch CIO", or "philanthropic collective: Ms A, Mr B".
Pick the closest match.
Leave blank if the fund is informal or not yet registered.
Where clubs can find full detail. If you don't have one yet, leave blank.
Plain English. Example: "Supports grassroots sports clubs with capital costs of solar installations, EV charging, and water conservation." Avoid jargon.
Enter minimum and maximum, or a single fixed amount.
Minimum (£)
Maximum (£)
Match funding means the club has to put up part of the cost themselves.

Eligibility — who can apply
This is what drives which clubs see your fund. Be as specific as possible.
Most grassroots clubs are CASCs or unincorporated. Some philanthropist funds restrict to charities for tax reasons.
Tick all that apply, or tick "any sport" if the fund is sport-agnostic.
Is the fund targeted at particular groups, or open to any grassroots club?
If the fund prioritises deprived areas, tell us which index and which deciles (e.g. "IMD 1 to 4").
From decile
To decile
Examples: "London only", "Yorkshire Active Partnership area", "within 50 miles of Manchester". Leave blank if no restriction.
Section 3 of 6
What the fund covers
Clubs need to know what they can and can't spend the money on.
Tick all that apply. The more specific, the better the matching to clubs.
Capital & facilities
Equipment
Coaching & programmes
Operations & running costs
Sustainability & environment
Other
Things you won't fund. Examples: "no salaries or staff costs", "no professional/elite sport", "no individual athletes", "no overseas travel", "not floodlights". Clubs need to know before they apply.
Things a club must already have or have done before they can apply. Tick all that apply, or "None" if there are no baseline requirements.
Section 4 of 6
Governance and track record
Helps us describe the fund accurately and gives clubs confidence it's real.
For example: "£500k over 3 years", "£50k for year one".
Approximate number of awards.
Write "0" if launching with Funding Bench.
Two or three clubs/projects we can reference: name + rough amount + what the grant funded. If none yet, write "none".
Section 5 of 6
How clubs apply
The practical route from interest to application.
Where clubs send their application.
Examples: "must agree to be named in press release", "no fossil-fuel sponsorship during grant period", "must share case study within 12 months".
Section 6 of 6
Contacts and sign-off
Where we reach you to confirm details.
Leave blank if same as above.
For example: "Funded by the Smith Family Foundation. Logo attached for use on club communications."
Anything you'd like to flag that these questions didn't cover.
